Binfield earn 3-2 win over Longlevens despite finishing with 10 men

Ben Harris scored twice for Ascot United as they earned an impressive 4-0 win at home to Brimscombe & Thrupp on Saturday in the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division.

The Yellamen’s new signing scored the first and third goals for Neil Richards men while Matt Jones and Ben Hodges also got on the scorer sheet.

Over at Binfield, there was a second red card and a second goal in two games for Sean Moore who opened the scoring for Binfield after half an hour and was sent off with eight minutes remaining. A penalty for Josh Howell and another for Ian Davies accounted for the other strikes.

Across in Division 1 East, Virginia Water beat leaders Bicester Town 4-2 while Sandhurst Town notched up an important 4-1 win over Chinnor at Bottom Meadow.
