Danny Horscroft scored the only goal of the game on the half hour mark as Woodley United beat Fairford Town 1-0 in Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

It was a hard earned fourth win of the season for James Anderson’s side at bottom of the table Fairford in Wiltshire and their second in a row after last weekends defeat of Brackley Town Saints.

Binfield picked up a point in a 2-2 draw with Tuffley Rovers at Hill Farm Lane. Ian Davies opened the scoring for the Moles but it took a late own goal from a Josh Howell free kick to earn a share of the points after Rovers had taken a 2-1 lead.
