The one local friendly on Tuesday night didn’t complete the 90 minutes after weather described as a monsoon forced the abandonment of the AFC Aldermaston vs Binfield ‘Dev’ tie at the Rec Soc.

The match was abandoned after 75 minutes due to the conditions with Binfield 2-0 up.

Matt Henderson and Ali Dickie had given the young Moles the lead on 73 and 74 minutes with the match abandoned shortly after.

When asked whether he’d taken any pictures of the conditions to share with FiB, Binfield boss Ellis Woods said: “I wasn’t getting my phone out in that!”

Wednesday see’s one friendly take place with Woodley United hosting Thames Valley Premier Division side Woodcote Stoke Row.
