Roger Herridge’s Binfield side finished a season of real highs and lows on a positive note with a 2-1 win at Oxford City Nomads on Wednesday night.

In the Moles final Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division tie of the season it was Nomads who took a 47th minute lead at Court Place Farm only for youngster Harry Lee and then top scorer Liam Ferdinand to give Herridge’s side the three points and secure eighth place in the league.

If the league season is over for the Moles, the cup season certainly isn’t with a forthcoming Reading Senior Cup semi final against Woodcote Stoke Row and Berks & Bucks County Cup Final against neighbours Bracknell Town to come before Herridge and his men head to the beach.
