Woodley United are within touching distance of promotion to the Uhlsport Hellenic Premier Division after Josh Drew gave the Kestrels a late 1-0 win over AFC Aldermaston at Scours Lane.

The original match between the two sides was abandoned due to floodlight failure but this one went the distance with the Atomics four minutes from a point when Drew struck.

The result puts Michael Herbert’s side six points clear of nearest challengers for second spot Headington Amateurs who won 7-2 at Holyport.

Elsewhere, Sandhurst Town drew 1-1 with Chinnor while Finchampstead crashed out of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup following a 5-0 defeat at home to Division 1 West side Fairford Town.
