Bracknell Town Ladies first team finish off the season without a league point in the Southern Region Women’s Premier League but can be pleased with their performance in a 3-0 defeat to Winchester City Flyers.

It was a game that could easily have yielded something for Sean Haynes side, particularly after going in 0-0 at half time but when Caroline Paterson saw Bracknell’s best opportunity of the half flash past the post it was always going to be a tough ask in the second.

Visitors City had chances in the first half but none that were clear cut, and just as Bracknell threatened to take control in the second they struck to break the deadlock.

Two further goals followed in the final 15 minutes to end any chance of a comeback that, it could be argued Bracknell might have deserved.

First Division
