A first defeat of the season for Sandhurst Town in the Allied Counties Youth League Premier Division as they went down 2-1 at Marlow on Wednesday night.

Rory Fitzmaurice did his golden boot chances no harm with a ninth goal of the season but it wasn’t enough to stop the young Fizzers falling to a first defeat in the Premier Division – though they remain top by virtue of playing three more games than challengers Maidenhead United who won 7-1 at Uxbridge.

On Thursday night Ascot United crashed out of the league cup after losing 4-2 at home to Camberley Town – Matthew Forder got the goals for the Yellakids.

In the South Division, Binfield’s youth team beat Westfield 6-4 in the Allied Counties South Division on Thursday night. Jimmy Craske reported to us from Hill Farm Lane that the goals from Eddie Lee (2), Callum Brighton, Luke Hayden, Freeman Mulipola and Charlie Craske.
