Dan Roberts and captain Tom Nugent both netted for Bracknell Town under 21s on Tuesday in the derby at Ascot United but couldn’t stop the Robins suffering a first Suburban League defeat of the season.
Liam Day’s side remain top of the pile in the Suburban League Central Division 1 but their 100% record went – along with the lights at the Racecourse Ground at one point – in a 3-2 defeat to the Yellamen.

Bracknell were 8-2 winners against Ascot in the FootballinBracknell pre season cup back in July with Connor Thorndike hitting five on his return from injury.
Tuesday nights tie wasn’t to be for Day’s men though, despite Roberts scoring from the penalty box and Nugent heading home.
Both sides are in action again on Saturday on the road with Bracknell heading to Farnham Town and Ascot off to Berkhamstead in the Central Division.
