The second match of the inaugural FootballinBracknell pre season tournament saw Binfield emerge victorious over neighbours Wokingham & Emmbrook on Thursday night.

Moles full-back Matt Henderson scored twice in Binfield’s 4-2 win to move them joint top of the group with Bracknell Town, who defeated Ascot United on Saturday. Marcus Frederick and Clive Akem-Che also got themselves on the scoresheet.

Manager Ellis Woods, speaking to Fisaid: “It was the tight game I expected on a small pitch at Cantley Park.

“Wokingham worked us hard and I was very impressed by their wingers and forward, but I am looking forward to the test against Bracknell on Saturday.”

Please note that according to Binfield twitter, Saturday’s FiB cup tie between Bracknell Town and the Moles will be at Larges Lane, not Ranelagh School as previously advertised.
