FA Cup heroes, Freya Gregory for England and a beach soccer cap for one of our own

Berkshire Football Stories is hosted by Rob Davies and this week he is joined by Tom Canning and Neil Maskell.

The team discuss the FA Cup heroics of Slough Town, Bracknell Town and Maidenhead United as well as England call ups for a current Royal and several former Reading FC Women players while we have voice notes from Alicia Povey on her England Beach Soccer debut and Neil Graham who was at the Slough game on Tuesday night.

As well as all that the team discuss Darryl Harrison’s Dagenham & Redbridge family connection, non-league’s most expensive footballer and out of nowhere have a good old pop at AFC Totton.

Tom Canning

Tom Canning is the co-editor of Football in Berkshire. He has played at the lowest possible level of football in the Bracknell Sunday League Fourth Division. In real life Tom is a Freelance Digital Content Producer having spent 20 years at Reach PLC, starting out on the Reading Evening Post - as well as a year with The Cricketer Magazine. He co-founded Football in Berkshire with Darrell Freeland in 2016. He is the former manager of Bracknell Town Ladies Reserves and Binfield Ladies in the Thames Valley Women's League.
