There was some intense sporting celebrity stardust on a Berkshire football podcast this week as Sir Mo Farah dropped by the Royal County.

I know what you are thinking, how did Tom wangle an interview with one of the country’s greatest sportsmen? Well.. he didn’t.

The track superstar dropped by to chat with Mark Rivers and Berks & Bucks FA’s Richard Brant to discuss his love of the beautiful game on the latest episode of The Grassroots Football Coach.

The brilliant podcast is back for a new series and the duo have dropped this special episode as a taster of what’s to come this series.

On the pod, Arsenal fan Mo takes you on a journey from his first experiences in sports as a child to becoming a four-time Olympic Gold Medallist. Mo shares what it takes to be an elite athlete both physically and mentally and the important role his coaches have had on his success.
