We’ve got a game Tuesday night!

Neil Richards, Ascot United’s Director of Football was reflecting on a joyous and chaotic few hours for the Berkshire side following their FA Vase Semi Final win at Corsham Town on penalties.

Neil was speaking on a special episode of the Berkshire Football Stories podcast about the moment Sean McCormack sent the Yellas to Wembley, the emotions since and the quick turnaround for a Combined Counties League Premier Division North fixture at Broadfields United on Tuesday night.

On this special episode, we discuss the game with Rob Davies who was on commentary duty with LiveSportsFM, the post-match celebrations with Abi Ticehurst and the deluge of admin and enquiries that comes with national recognition with Bob Bacon who has of course seen it and done it with Binfield.

Expect at least two more Berkshire Football Stories episodes this week with the midweek round-up on Wednesday and a Futsal special on Friday with Alicia Povey and author Paul Watson.
