Just two matches in Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 East survived the weather with third placed Finchampstead able to make the most of a series of postponements.

Improving Holyport were the visitors to the Memorial Ground on the back of a narrow midweek defeat to Premier Division Binfield, but they were swept aside by Finch who cruised to a 6-0 victory.

Hat-tricks apiece from Harry Swabey and Kylo Atkinson did the trick which sees Swabey head the Finch scoring charts on seventeen goals whilst Atkinson has eight goals from only ten matches played.

For the time being at least, Finch have moved up to second place although both Headington Amateurs and Woodley United would expect to move above them with their games in hand.

Finchampstead still have an opportunity for silverware this season with the forthcoming Reading Senior Cup quarter final.
