Woodley United win derby, Binfield and Wokingham & Emmbrook win on the road

It was a terrific afternoon for Woodley United who advanced to the fourth round of the Berks & Bucks Intermediate Cup thanks to a 4-0 win over Finchampstead at Scours Lane.

United led through Charlie Oakley at the break and Josh Drew made it 2-0 shortly after.

Greg Beckett made it 3-0 from the penalty spot on the hour and Oakley made it four eight minutes later.

There was a consolation for Finch who saw Harry Swabey score from the penalty spot on 89 minutes.

Sandhurst Town are out of the competition following a 3-1 defeat at Chalvey Sports in Slough.

A tough afternoon for Binfield who lost 4-0 at Highworth Town in the Hellenic Premier while Wokingham & Emmbrook were beaten 4-2 at Division 1 East leaders Penn & Tylers Green.

Tom Williams and Matt Booth scored for the Sumas while AFC Aldermaston beat Didcot Town Reserves 2-1 in nuclear derby.

In the Thames Valley Premier Berks County beat bottom side Hurst 3-0.
