Reading City and Burnham earn home draws in FA Vase Third Round

The draw for the FA Vase Third Round is complete and was released at lunchtime on Monday 10th November.

Reading City will host Snodland Town after Mo Ceesay’s strike gave the Cityzens a 1-0 win at home to Kent side Erith & Belvedere while Burnham are also at home to Punjab United after beating Hythe Town 4-3 on penalties.

Punjab knocked out Tadley Calleva 2-1 in the previous round and are 11th in the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division.

The Cityzens will also play SCEFL Premier opponents again after knocking out Erith. Snodland are eighth in the division and beat Guernsey 4-2 at home in the Second Round.

Windsor & Eton meanwhile also face SCEFL opposition with a trip to Kent side Tunbridge Wells. The Wells beat Sheerwater 4-0 at home in the previous round while Windsor advanced courtesy of a 2-0 win at home to Bearsted.

Finally, Berks County, one of a few Step 6 sides left in the last 64, will travel to Southern Combination Football League Premier Division leaders Haywards Heath Town.
