Slough Town’s Nikhita Sangha is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Player of the Season (Female) sponsored by Grundon Waste Management.
The midfielder has played 19 times for Slough this season in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Division One North scoring twice, those goals coming recently against Abingdon United and Penn & Tylers Green.
The nomination we recieved for the award said: “I’m nominating our captain Nikhita because she leads by example every day. She’s hardworking, consistent, and always puts the team first. She supports her teammates on and off the pitch, communicates well, and keeps everyone motivated, especially in tough moments. She’s someone the whole team respects and can rely on, which is exactly what you want in a captain.”
