Reading City at home in FA Vase Fourth Round while Windsor & Eton could host Fisher

Could Reading City be on for a reverse Binfield? The Cityzens have once again been drawn at home after their FA Vase Third Round heroics against Snodland Town.

Binfield’s famous run to the 2020/21 FA Vase Final at Wembley Stadium was characterised by the club being drawn away in every single round.

Reading City can’t quite match that having beaten Mendip Boardwalk away on penalties in the Second Qualifying Round (the round the club entered this years competition), but three matches on and every game has been at the Rivermoor. The FA Vase Fourth Round draw matches them up with Essex-based Lymore Gardens of the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League First Division South, you guessed it, at home.

Windsor & Eton still have to play their Third Round tie at Tunbridge Wells after the match on Saturday was postponed due to the weather, but should they prevail, the Royalists will host Fisher FC of the Southern Counties East Football League Premier Division at Stag Meadow.
