Berkshire sides earn home draws in FA Vase Second Round Proper – Reading City, Windsor & Eton and Berks County have advantage

It’s home advantage for Reading City, Windsor & Eton and Berks County in the FA Vase Second Round after all the draw was released on Monday afternoon.

Burnham and Tadley Calleva both have away ties with the Blues at Hythe Town while the Romans face Punjab United.

Windsor & Eton won 2-0 at Wessex League Division One leaders Whitchurch United on Saturday thanks to goals from Ben Catt and Isaiah Chase-Kelly in the final 20 minutes of the game, while Reading put four past Baffins Milton Rovers without reply at the Rivermoor.

George Gould was the hero for County, scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win at home to Phoenix Sports. The Swords are no strangers to the ‘Proper’ rounds of the Vase having reached the Third Round in their inaugural season in the competition in 21/22. They also reached the First Round last season.
