FA Vase First Round Proper draw: Reading City at home while Windsor & Eton head to Hampshire

Cityzens and Royalists among nine ties drawn for Berkshire sides

The FA has released the full draw for the the 2025/26 FA Vase First Round Proper with Burnham, Tadley Calleva and Windsor & Eton included for the first time.

The trio were exempt to the First Round after reaching the Third Round last season while there were four other sides who have battled through the Qualifying Rounds.

Reading City will certainly fancy their chances of progressing at home to Baffins Milton Rovers from Portsmouth, as weill Windsor & Eton who travel to Wessex League Division One Whitchurch United.

2018 Vase winners Thatcham Town have a tougher task against Combined Counties League Premier Division South rivals Balham while Tadley Calleva have a chance to repeat their FA Cup heroics against ‘fallen non-league giants’ Tooting & Mitcham United.

  • Balham v Thatcham Town
  • Berks County v Phoenix Sports
  • Burnham v Spelthorne Sports
  • Reading City v Baffins Milton Rovers
  • Tadley Calleva v Tooting & Mitcham United
  • Whitchurch United v Windsor & Eton

FA Vase First Round Proper matches are due to be played on the weekend of Saturday 18th October 2025.
