Not content with equalling the clubs best ever FA Cup performance, Tadley Calleva will now grace national television screens having been selected as the televised pick for the 2025/26 FA Cup First Qualifying Round.
The Romans beat Christchurch 3-0 at the weekend, drawing former Enterprise National League side Weymouth out of the hat in what could turn out to be a money-spinning tie at Barlows Park.

Tadley previously made the First Qualifying Round in 2020, losing 1-0 to Truro City, and 2023, losing 5-1 to Didcot Town.
Weymouth, relegated to the Southern League Premier Division South after a series of poor seasons in the National League South, are one of the bigger sides in the First Qualifying Round draw and Barlows Park is known for drawing a crowd for the big occasion if recent visits of AFC Bournemouth and Aldershot Town are anything to go by.
The match has been selected for television with Tadley becoming the first Football in Berkshire covered side to feature in an FA Cup television pick since Bracknell Town’s First Round home tie against Ipswich in 2022. The match is one of x ties selected and will feature on the BBC Red Button service over the weekend of Saturday 30th August.
Football in Berkshire understands both teams will receive a fee for the live broadcast. An FA spokesperson confirmed the home and away club could receive up to £1,000 for the fixture.
The winners of the First Qualifying Round tie will receive £2,250 while the defeated side will receive £750. Tadley have already earned £2,569 from this seasons FA Cup run.
