What a day Sunday was for Football in Berkshire and Launchpad, Reading’s homelessness charity.

We held our first ever 5-aside tournament featuring businesses from across Reading and the Thames Valley with PwC coming away as undefeated champions.

Held at Reading City Football Club on Sunday 27th July, the competition featured sponsors, Theale-based PLAION, PwC, KPMG, Siren Craft Brew, Jaguar Espresso Systems, Launchpad and a Football in Berkshire side in a league format playing each other once each over six games.

PwC won the trophy with four wins and two draws while PLAION top-scored with 16 goals. Every team posted a win during the competition which was played in a great spirit.
