Defender Sarah Killick-Bird departs Ascot United

Ascot United have confirmed central defender,Sarah Killick-Bird is to depart the club as she moves on to pastures new.

She officially joined Ascot United in July of 2022, after dual registering in February of the same season, having previously played for the former South East Regional outfit, AFC Acorns. Killick-Bird has also had stints at Oakwood, AFC Wimbledon and Wimbledon Town.

She made 41 appearances for the both the First and Reserves team including several in the Yellas FA Cup run in the 2022/23 season. The cup run saw her face her own sister, Ellie Killick-Bird, as they drew AFC Acorns in the Third Round Qualifying. Ascot United progressed to the First Round after a 5-0 win.
