Reading FC Women confirmed on New Year’s Eve that club captain Jordanne Hoesli-Atkins has departed the club. 

Leading the Royals in their first season after demotion from the Tier 2 in the Championship to Tier 5 in the Southern Region Women’s Football League. Hoesli-Atkins has been at the helm at they try to find a new rhythm in the squad. 

She was the first signing announced of the new era in August of 2024 having played most recently for Ashford Town in the National League Division One South East. She went on to make seven appearances for Reading including a single goal to her name in the form of a penalty against Aylesford in their Adobe Women’s FA Cup Third Round Qualifying tie. 

Reading are looking to add more experience to the squad, so do get in touch if you’re looking for a challenge at Tier 5.
