Reading will welcome Oxford City to Arbour Park on Sunday 15th of September for their first home game of the 2024/25 season.

It was confirmed back at the beginning of August, by Reading, that their new Tier 5 home would be Arbour Park, affectionately known at The Fortress by landlords Slough Town.

“We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming season and look forward to seeing many fans come out to support our team…Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to see you at Arbour Park, backing our girls this season!”Reading official statement

Their opponents, Oxford City, finished a respectable fourth just one point behind Reading’s fellow Berkshire side Woodley United so the Royals will need to be firing on all cylinders from kick to register a good result.

Life in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Women’s Football League didn’t start quite how Reading may well have planned as they travelled to new look Sholing, previously Eastleigh in the Community, and fell to a 3-0 defeat to the Hampshire side. However, the Royals squad continues to grow with sixteen players now registered for the team, including some familiar faces from clubs around the county.
