11 Berkshire sides were in action on the Saturday 3rd of August 2024 in the opening weekend of the Emirates FA Cup and eight of them have swept through into the Preliminary Round of the competition.
We unfortunately say goodbye to Wokingham Town who lost out to fellow Berkshire side Binfield for a second consecutive year as the Moles nabbed a convincing 3-1 win at Lowther Road, whilst Tadley Calleva exit the cup after a 5 goal thriller saw Millbrook (Hampshire) come out on top with three goals to Tadley’s two. Holyport also end their FA Cup journey at the first hurdle losing out on their away trip to Yate Town as they went down 2-0 to the Bristolian side. Burnham unfortunately lost out to Corsham Town in their Tuesday 6th of August replay, with the Quarrymen running out a 2-0 victory over the Berkshire outfit.
