Natasha Pantony (nee Elcox) is up for a Berkshire Football Award in the category of Clive McNelly Volunteer of the Season sponsored by Supporters Trust at Reading.
Nominated by her club mates at Eversley & California, ‘Tash’ was a player for the sides women’s team but has certainly had her hands full off the pitch this season.
One nomination for the award said: “Tash is an unbelievable volunteer for the club. Having no budget or funds spare as a club, she does so much for us. Social media, setting up the VEO, washing kits for all three men’s teams and they’re all there ready and set up for every game. She’s at every match day to help things run smoothly. She does all of the admin for our first team and under 23s on matchdays to help out. She helps with the post-match food in the clubhouse all while being a young mother! She’s definitely someone whose devotion and commitment needs to be recognised. She would fully deserve this award.”

Another added: “Natasha is a voluntary helper at Eversley & California Football Club and without her help we would struggle on Saturdays. This season she’s been pregnant and has given birth to her first child but still helped out where she could. She does so much for the club behind the scenes to make the games go ahead that isn’t noticed. She washes all of the kit for match days, cooks and cleans on match days and just her whole involvement with the club is fantastic.”
