Fans lead ground improvements at Thatcham Town

It’s been a busy weekend of hard work at the Stacatruc

Clubs across the county will be busy with ground developments, preparations and maintenance over the summer in preparation for the new season.

Thatcham Town of the Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One are no different as these images shared with us by blues fan Owen Armstrong show.

The Kingfishers are replacing the perimeter fencing at the Stacatruc Stadium with a team of volunteers working together in what will undoubtedly save the club £1,000s.

A tweet shared by the club said: “First work party of the close season going well with the fence behind the far goal being replaced! Cheers to all the volunteers that gave us a hand today.”
