One last tilt at silverware on Tuesday night for Bracknell Town and Marlow, two sides more than familiar with each other and both hurting from play-off heartbreak.

Bracknell and Marlow go head to head at Ascot United in the Final of the Berks & Bucks County FA Senior Men’s Cup Final.

For the Robins, it’s a case of picking themselves up after a season that put them in the National spotlight via the FA Cup ended in Southern League play-off Final drama that saw Truro City score an injury-time winner to earn promotion to the Vanarama National League South.

For Marlow – under ex-Robin Mark Bartley – the disappointment came a round earlier after they were beaten 2-1 by Hanworth Villa in the Isthmian League play-off Semi-Final – Walton & Hersham went on to beat Hanworth in the Final.

Bracknell were last in the final in 2004 when they were beaten 4-1 by Chesham United while Marlow’s last final was 2009 when Windsor & Eton beat them 1-0.

A win for Bracknell would be the first time the club has won the Senior Cup having lifted the Senior Trophy in 2017, but Marlow have a longer history in the top-tier County competition having won it 13 teams, most recently in 1994.

If you are interested in attending the Final, tickets are available here. Please note the match is all ticket.
