A quirk of the fixture computer means Bracknell Town will be guaranteed a Southern League Premier Division South play-off place with three points on Saturday.

The Robins face a trip to Swindon Supermarine at the weekend with the Wiltshire side the only team that can deny them a place in the end-of-season shake-up.

Even without the win, it remains highly likely that Bracknell will make the play-offs in their first season in the division.

What remains to be seen is whether Bracknell or Truro City can challenge Weston-super-Mare for the title, with the leaders experiencing a wobble in the run-in.

Elsewhere there is plenty more intrigue across all the divisions with Hungerford Town and Slough Town fighting for survival in the National League South while Binfield are pushing for a play-off place of their own in the Isthmian League.

Then there’s the drama of the Hellenic League ground hop coming to Berkshire on Saturday.
