There will be two Berkshire sides in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup in the 2022/23 but sadly Binfield won’t be one of the club.

Bracknell Town will be joined by Vanarama National League side Maidenhead United in the draw following the Robins 3-0 win at Yate Town.

Bracknell are in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round for the fifth time in the clubs history, but the first time in nearly 20 years with the visit and 3-0 defeat to Barnet in 2003 being the most recent occurrence.

The Robins were favourites going in to the tie with Southern League Premier Division South rivals and bottom side Yate Town and had goals from Dan Bayliss, on 56 minutes, followed up by injury times goals from Jordan Esprit and Mickel Platt.

Binfield however were unable to complete a dream run in the competition having already beaten their previous record run to the Second Qualifying Round.

Fellow Step 4 high-flyers Beckenham Town put five past the Moles previously granite like defence in a 5-3 defeat with goals coming from Liam Tack (2) and Lewis Pegg.
