Football in Berkshire is delighted to unveil the newest bit of the website!
Compiling the weekly fixture lists has long been one of the most arduous, and dull parts of running Football in Berkshire (because it’s copy + paste, copy + paste, repeat etc) to the point where sometimes we’d pull it together mere hours before the games were due to be played.
This didn’t help anyone, least of all our mission to get more people interested in their local clubs.
So we’ve created a brand new, automated system that does it for us, and you can see the result of our efforts right here or by clicking Fixtures & Results in the navigation above (if you are on desktop) or the Fixtures button below (if you are on your mobile).
You’ll find all the upcoming men’s and women’s fixtures in Berkshire from the top-tier Vanarama National League right down to the East Berks Football League. You will find Allied Counties Youth League fixtures and Hellenic League Division Two fixtures alongside games in the FA WSL and Thames Valley Counties Women’s Football League.
The service will show fixtures for all Berkshire clubs for the next 28 days along with the kick-off time (but we’d still caveat this saying ‘check with the host club before you travel’. After each day we’ll be adding the results for each game.
This is phase one of the service in its most basic format, we’ve got some big plans going forward to make it even better as well, but those will depend a little on generating some more sponsorship revenue.
