Cherry Red Records Combined Counties League Premier Division North side Reading City have had their ground vandalised.
The Rivermoor was, according to a social media post by the club, broken into on Tuesday night with the changing rooms trashed and pipe work stolen.
City – who played their first home league game of the season on Tuesday night – had members of their club arrive on site on Wednesday morning to find the damage, with water left running.
Last nights feeling of jubilation after our win, have turned to feelings of sadness & anger this morning.

Having arrived at @Therivermoor we have found our changing rooms were not only broken into but trashed, the piping stolen and water left running all night 😭 pic.twitter.com/t52262OOEE
City manager Simon Johnson summed it up on Twitter: “Honestly. Repeat occurrence. Absolute scum of the earth.”
