Ahead of the start of the 2022/23 FA Women’s Super League season, Football in Berkshire is looking for volunteers to help support its Reading FC Women and Maidenhead United Women coverage.

It promises to be an exciting season in the FA WSL following a triumphant Lionesses summer and Reading reporting a 300% increase in season ticket sales at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Football in Berkshire is a volunteer run, non-profit group that has been covering the women’s game in the county for years from the FA WSL down to the Thames Valley Counties Women’s League.

What the role entails: On a basic level, we’d like short post match reports either through attending games or watching on FA Player, but the role could evolve to interviews, press conferences and live match.

Benefits: This is a volunteer role, but we would apply for press accreditation to any and all games you wish to attend. There is also the opportunity to branch out and support coverage of Maidenhead United Women in the FA Women’s National League.
