Tash Harding set to join Wales centurion club

Reading FC Women captain Tash Harding will have the chance to reach 100 international caps over the coming days after she was announced in Gemma Grainger’s Wales squad to face France and Kazakhstan.

The winger/forward/full-back/makeshift centre-half is currently on 98 caps and will have the chance to join former Reading player Jess Fishlock in the Welsh centurion club.

Fellow Reading Women players Rachel Rowe, Lily Woodham and Gemma Evans have also been called up into Grainger’s 26 woman squad.

Helen Ward, a former Reading player is currently on 99 caps and could make her 100th appearance for her country alongside Tash Harding.

Wales face France on the evening of Friday 8th April at Llanelli before travelling to Kazakhstan for a game on Tuesday 12th. Wales are currently in second place in their group with a realistic chance of making the playoffs.

Other Reading players receiving international call-ups include Amalie Eikeland (Norway), Bethan Roberts (Wales U19), Grace Moloney (Ireland), Emma Harries (England U23), Deanne Rose (Canada), Sanne Troelsgaard (Denmark) and Justine Vanhaevermaet (Belgium).
