Hungerford Town manager Danny Robinson has been nominated for a Berkshire Football Award in the Eddie Stobart Manager of the Season category.
Robinson was appointed Hungerford boss in 2020 and has taken a team destined for relegation to Vanarama National League South play-off contenders, all the while bringing on and improving players from lower levels.
One nomination for Robinson said: “Anyone who thought the National League might be a step too far for Danny has been proved wildly wrong. He’s transformed Hungerford and made them hard to beat, frustrating to play against but ultimately worthy of every brilliant moment they have in the division. He sets his teams out to get something from every game and Danny himself has stayed personable and likeable. It’ll surely only be a matter of time before he’s at the top-tier of non-league, hopefully with us!”
Another nomination said: “Every day I see this man work hard for where he what’s to be in life he deserves a recommendation for his hard work . Danny lives and breaths football and no one can take that away from him.”
