Reading FC Women’s Emma Harries has been nominated in the Berkshire Football Awards Young Player of the Season (Female) category.
Harries has become a vital part of the Royals FA WSL attacking trio this season alongside Natasha Dowie and Deanne Rose after rising to prominence in 2020/21.
The young forward made her Reading debut in October 2020, coming on as a substitute against West Ham United, and hasn’t looked back since with England under 17 and under 23 call ups.
The nomination for the Since 71 blog Young Player of the Year we received for Emma said: “Burst into the Reading Women first team alongside forwards like Tash Harding, Tash Dowie and Deanne Rose and not looked out of place. She’s also scored some absolutely brilliant goals and must be in the thoughts of the senior England manager.”
