The individual November Pitching In Isthmian League awards have been announced with Bracknell Town earning two in the South Central area.
Goalkeeper Michael Eacott, impressive for the Robins since joining from Sutton Common Rovers, has scooped the AB1 Goalkeeper golden glove award for the month while boss Bobby Wilkinson has picked up the Vita Risk Solutions Manager of the Month award.
Writing up the awards on the official Isthmian League website, Ian Townsend said: “Bracknell Town’s November saw them play five matches in the Pitching In Isthmian South Central Division, and not see their defence breached in four of them, whilst winning them all. Michael Eacott was the main man behind three of those clean sheets and four of their victories, in a month which saw them score thirteen league goals and concede only one, in victory over Basingstoke Town. Congrats go to Michael and to his rock-steady back line.”
Bobby Wilkinson
Similarly, the Robins record has sent the award to Berkshire with Townsend writing: “Five matches, five wins, thirteen goals scored and only one conceded- November has proved quite conclusively why Bracknell Town are Pitching In Isthmian South Central title favourites. Bobby Wilkinson has overseen victories over Northwood, Basingstoke Town, Guernsey, Ashford Town and Chalfont St Peter, victories which have seen them go five points clear at the top of the table and become- if there were any doubt- conclusively our team to beat. Congrats to Bobby, and to all at Bottom Meadow.”
As well as the manager and goalkeeping award, the Isthmian League has a ‘Performance of the Month’ award sponsored by Pitching In, which in the South Central Division went to Uxbridge for the Red Devils 1-0 win over Vanarama National League South Chippenham Town in the Buildbase FA Trophy.
