Maidenhead United’s trip to Southend United on Tuesday night has been postponed after the Magpies recorded a positive Covid-19 test in the squad.
A short post on Twitter confirmed the news: “Due to a positive COVID-19 case within the Magpies camp and following consultation with National League this morning, tonight’s game against Southend United has been postponed. This fixture has been rescheduled for Tuesday 7th December at 7:45pm.”
The game was an important one for both sides who sit 19th and 20th respectively, outside the National League drop-zone.

In other news, it has been confirmed that former Magpies midfielder James Comley has joined National League side Boreham Wood and is expected to feature against Notts County on Tuesday night.
