90 minutes from the big boys. That’s what Reading City under 18s boss Michael Butcher said to Football in Berkshire about the draw for the Second Round of the FA Youth Cup.

And that is the position his side are in after Jenyo Balogun scored the only goal of the game in Wednesday night’s First Round tie between Reading City and Gosport Borough at The Rivermoor.

Reading City are the only Berkshire side in the draw that is seeded by the level of the club’s senior men’s team, which means the young Cityzens could face the youth sides of League One and Two clubs in the draw.

So when is the FA Youth Cup Second Round draw?

The Football Association have confirmed to Football in Berkshire the draw will be released at 1pm on Friday 5th November.

Clubs in the draw include Oxford United who beat the Cityzens in 2019/20, Portsmouth, Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers. Full results on the FA website here.
