The Football Association have revealed details of when the draw for the Fourth Qualifying Round of the 2021/22 Emirates FA Cup.
You know we’re nearing the business end of the competition because radio station TalkSport are now involved, as are Maidenhead United and possibly Hungerford Town, subject to the weekends results.
As a Vanarama National League side, Maidenhead were exempt until the Fourth Qualifying Round while Hungerford started in the Second, beating Truro City 1-0, and they faced Cirencester Town in the third.
When is FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round draw then?
The draw, the FA have revealed, due to TalkSport’s involvement will not be the usual 1pm on the Monday after the previous round.
Instead, the draw for the Fourth Round Qualifying of the competition’s 150th anniversary season will be made live on talkSPORT2’s The Social programme at 3:15pm on Monday 4 October.
The draw will include clubs like Wrexham, Notts County and Grimsby Town.
