Bracknell Town boss Bobby Wilkinson has picked up the Pitching In Isthmian League South Central Division One manager of the month award for September.

The Robins have made an unbeaten start to the 2020/21 season with four wins and a draw in their opening five league games, building on the blistering run at the back end of last season after Wilkinson took over the role.

The Isthmian League makes the award – sponsored by Vita Risk Solutions – to a manager in each of it’s four divisions with Wilkinson the recipient in the South Central Division.

Details of the award, posted on the Isthmian League website include: “Bracknell Town ended last season like an express train, so it should come as no surprise that they haven’t looked in danger of being derailed this season either. With four wins and a draw from their five league matches they’ll approach the restart in fifth place, three points off the top but with an incredible three matches in hand- a legacy of a cup run which saw them reach the Third Qualifying Round and a Trophy run which will continue when we resume. Manager Bobby Wilkinson has surely earned the right to be giving it large on Larges Lane!”
