Maidenhead United star Sam Barratt is up for the LV Bet October Performance of the Month award against Torquay United and Wealdstone boss Dean Brennan.
Barratt though needs the support of the Berkshire footballing fraternity as he’s currently behind in the polls (because we’ve not had enough of those this month already).
The poll closes at 4pm on Friday and Barratt, at the time of writing, has 22.1% of the vote and while Torquay has 46.8% and Brennan on 31.1%.
Barratt is currently the top scorer in the Vanarama National League with seven goals including a hat-trick for Maidenhead against Solihull Moors on Saturday. His total for the season so far is more than the his former club Southend United (5) have scored in League Two.
