We’re just 90 minutes – and possibly penalties – from the First Round Proper of the 2020/21 Emirates FA Cup and as it stands there is just one possible Berkshire representative in it.
Vanarama National League Maidenhead United make their bow in this year’s competition on Saturday when they host Pitching In Isthmian League South East Division One side Cray Valley (PM) at York Road, a game that until a week ago might have looked good for an FA Cup upset.
The Magpies had a wretched start to the National League season, losing their opening three games but since then have upset the odds themselves winning two in a row at Wrexham and Notts County. Step 4 Cray meanwhile have already played four times this season in the competition.
