In past season’s, the draw for the next round of FA competitions takes place the Monday after the fixtures have been played.

This means the FA Cup First Qualifying Round draw is expected on Monday 14th September 2020 – the usual release time is 1pm, but we await confirmation from the Football Association on that.

The BBC’s Ollie Bayliss has confirmed the draw will take place on Monday, and there is interest from two Berkshire clubs in Bracknell Town who beat Badshot Lea 2-0 and Binfield who brilliantly took apart AFC Totton 5-1 on Saturday.

Both Windsor and Thatcham Town suffered defeats on Saturday in the competition at Wantage Town and home to AFC Dunstable respectively.

There are of course four Berkshire sides yet to enter the competition with Slough Town and Hungerford Town exempt until the Second Qualifying Round and Maidenhead United the Fourth Qualifying Round. EFL Championship side Reading won’t play until the Third Round Proper.

You’ll be able to see all the draws for the First Qualifying Round round here on Football in Berkshire’s dedicated Emirates FA Cup page.
