Paul Coyne announces retirement

Influential midfielder will be missing from the Windsor midfield next season

Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division Windsor will be without a key midfielder next season after Paul Coyne announced his retirement.

According to Windsor Football Clubs website, Coyne made the announcement to his teammates at training on Wednesday night, citing family and work commitments.

Coyne, who’s former clubs include Ascot United, made 18 appearances for the Royalist last season and 23 in 2018/19 as Windsor reached the final of the Bluefin Sport Hellenic League Challenge Cup.

The midfielder made his debut for Windsor in 2005 having and enjoyed a second spell at the club from 2017 when he was re-signed by Mick Woodham.
