Berkshire postponements: Live updates as Storm Dennis affects weekend football

Updates on fixtures across the county

It looks like being another weekend of weather interrupted football. Maidenhead United’s trip to the North West to face AFC Fylde on Saturday was postponed on Friday while the Bracknell Town & District Sunday League have blanket postponed all fixtures for the second week running.

As well as Storm Dennis, parts of Berkshire saw heavy rain overnight while pitches have struggled to overcome the affects of Storm Ciara last weekend.

Both Reading City and Binfield saw home games postponed at short notice last weekend, an unusual situation for both clubs this season while the Combined Counties League have said: “If the rain is torrential, all CCL clubs have approval to postpone their matches tomorrow morning subject to the match referee’s blessing.”

Follow live updates on our blog below. If you are looking for a fixture, the full Saturday list is here – we’ll try to keep it up to date with postponements as well.
