Reading Women’s Mia Cruickshank has picked up her England U17 international caps this week.

She has been an integral part of the England U17 squad and has played against Azerbaijan, Iceland, France, USA, Georgia and Greece over the past 18 months.

Cruickshank has recently broken into the Reading first team squad and was named on the bench for Reading’s 3-3 draw with Bristol City last month.

The defender isn’t the only Reading Women product to earn England honours with Sophie Quirk, Georgina Eden Hasler, Kiera Skeels and Rose Kite all being part of England age groups over the past few months.

Reading Women are next in action on January 5th when they travel to Chelsea at a Kingsmeadow. The Royals have also been handed a tough draw in the next round of the Continental Cup.
