The 2019/20 Buildbase FA Vase is in the starting gates with the runners and riders setting off across a three day feast of cup football at the weekend.
Thanks to Binfield, Ascot United and Wokingham & Emmbrook moving their fixtures from the traditional Saturday afternoon, it’ll be possible to watch three consecutive days of Vase football starting at 7.45pm on Friday.
The First Qualifying Round of the competition pitches Binfield at home to Virginia Water on Friday night while Ascot travel to Fleet Town for their tie.
On Saturday, there are away days for Eversley & California at Abingdon United and Sandhurst Town at Clanfield in Hampshre while Woodley United head to the picturesque Wiltshire town of Malmesbury.
Wokingham & Emmbrook
Finally, on Sunday you have your pick with Wokingham & Emmbrook, Chalvey Sports and Holyport all at home while Langley are away to Long Crendon.
Wokingham are making a bit of a day of it with the fixture against Chipping Sodbury Town (2pm KO) marking the first national FA competition to be played in the town in 20 years and the first game of its type at Lowther Road and Emmbrook Sports & Social Club after the ground became an official step 6 venue earlier in August.
