‘Sheridan ticks every box’ says Bracknell Town boss

Sam Lock talks about his first new signing

Bracknell Town manager Sam Lock has revealed his first new signing for the 2019/20 Bostik League season as Robb Sheridan.

The centre back joins Bracknell from Dorking Wanderers where he won the Bostik League Premier Division last season, playing 18 league games.

Speaking to Football in Bracknell, Lock said: “Sheridan is a top centre half with bags of experience. He’s had three promotions in 4 seasons with Kingstonian and Dorking. Won the Bostik Premier with Dorking last season.

“Add to that he lives 15 minutes from the ground in lightwater. Ticks every possible box I have.”

Sheridan joins a squad that includes fellow defender Joe Gater as well as midfielders Harrison Bayley, Kensley Maloney and Seb Bowerman – the latters decision to stay at Larges Lane was confirmed on Wednesday night.

Bracknell face an impressive list of pre season opponents including a National League Maidenhead United. See all the fixtures for Berkshire here.
