If Bracknell Town’s playoff semi-final win over Westfield last night wasn’t enough to sate your appetite for football, there’s a cup final being played at Larges Lane on Wednesday evening.

It’s the Ascot and Fielden Cup Final this evening between Britwell and FC Beaconsfield.

The Fielden Cup is one of the oldest local football competitions and has a long and storied history.

Bracknell Town, Binfield and Wokingham have all won the cup. Most recently Binfield Reserves won it in 2016 with a victory over Chalvey Sports.

Britwell of the East Berkshire Football League are currently in 5th (of 8) while FC Beaconsfield are in 6th. Both sides still have games to play in the league.

It’s a beautiful May evening so why not take in some cup action at Larges Lane. It’s a 7.30pm kick off.
